How to hire a drone pilot for aerial work
Luckily with the advances in drone technology, aerial photography and videography with drones has become affordable and easy – and in a lot of cases, cheaper and easier than traditional methods of capturing the subject.
In order for a drone pilot to work commercially, they must obtain a Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority and carry Public Liability Insurance. I have a PfCO and am fully insured for aerial operations.
Booking me as a drone pilot for aerial photography or videography is as simple as filling out a simple form I call the “Initial Site Survey”. The form is pretty self-explanatory and you just need to fill in your requirements – whether it is a roof inspection, pictures of a house for a real estate website, or content for a promotional video etc. There are also a few questions about the area the drone will be operating. Once I have this information I can give you a quote for your mission.
Prices start as low as £150 for aerial photographs of property.

I can operate anywhere in the UK and I only charge a very reasonable travel fee to cover my costs. I regularly fly drones in the following areas: Blackburn, Blackpool, Bolton, Bradford, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, The Lake District, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, The Peak District, Preston, Sheffield, Warrington and The Yorkshire Dales.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all.
