Thanks so much for the kind words Alex! It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you over the past few weeks.
I love when the end of a job coincides with the sunset! I got this beautiful display over the Peak District on my way home from doing the aerial filming for a promo video in Sheffield.

The Mini 2 is a fantastic tool that I am delighted to add to the toolbox.

Combining both my knowledge of drones with my years of experience in the live entertainment industry, FlightShows offer drone displays and full shows to events in the UK and beyond.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Andy, one of the volunteers keeping Magpie Mill beautiful and safe. He was busy giving up his time to fix a grill on one of the mine-shafts that had been vandalised but was still more than happy to give up even more of his time to explain the fascinating history behind the best surviving example of a 19th-century lead mine in Derbyshire to me.

As much as the branding suggests that this operation is one man and his drone, many missions have huge involvement from a lot of other parties – observers, camera operators, marshals etc. Let me explain with a few examples. These are just hypothetical scenarios and the actual number of people required will be discovered during the initial site survey.

In order for a drone pilot to work commercially, they must obtain a Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority and carry Public Liability Insurance. I have a PfCO and am fully insured for aerial operations.

If you already know how to use W3W then jump straight to the Contact Me -> Location Sender page to pick and send the locations. If not, read on!
